Hosta Kinbotan

'Kinbotan' grows eventually to a small mound (20" wide x 8" high). Leaves have yellow-margins around a mid green center. The margins become more green as the summer progresses. The leaves are ovate with a rounded base. The flowers are held on 18" scapes are purple. The plant is a sport of a venusta seedling, and is from Japan where it is very popular.
